Cancellation of Talent Portal migration

After careful consideration and a thorough risk assessment, Simployer has decided to cancel the previously planned Talent Portal environment migration scheduled for October and November 2023. This decision was made after a detailed evaluation of the current setup and its potential impact on your business operations. Here's what this decision entails:

No changes will be required for any services:

  • There will be no changes to any URLs, including both the Talent Web Portal and Talent API.
  • For the Talent Web Portal, the URLs under the domain "netcompetence.se" will remain the same.
  • For the Talent API, the URLs under the domain "netcompetenceapi.se" will also stay unchanged.

Security & Performance Enhancements:

Our main goal is to ensure the stability, security, and best performance of your systems. Instead of proceeding with the Migration Project, Simployer will now focus on improving the security and performance of the current production environment. This will result in just one change:

  • The outbound IP address for all public services will be changed. The new IP address will be published HERE at the end of September 2023.
  • The new Public IP Address will change between November 4th and 5th 2023.

Who will be affected:

If your firewall currently allows access only from specific IP addresses, you'll need to update it to include the new Simployer public IP Address.

Affected apps & services:

  • Talent Web
  • Talent Public API
  • User Import

What you need to do:

If your firewall settings restrict access to specific IP addresses, make sure to adjust it to allow access from the new Simployer public IP address.
